The M189 took the innovation at the heart of the original Una Corda and scaled it up to an impressive concert grand instrument. Constructed in 2018, the M189 has been rigorously road tested, bashed, trucked, bumped and played for hundreds of hours without a single fault or complaint. Future Una Corda concert grands are currently under construction.
ARTFUL ENGINEERING
The M189, like all KLAVINS pianos, has a striking appearance that is a testament to purposeful engineering. Every design element and innovation, from its open frame to its custom-built soundboard, was the first step in the pursuit of the perfect concert Una Corda. Despite a pure approach to utilitarian engineering, the M189 feels as much like a piece of art as it does anything else, offering a tactile and visual experience that complements its extraordinary sound.
The KLAVINS Una Corda M189 is a statement of innovation and artistry, and is our beloved vanguard for the ultimate expression of the Una Corda concert piano, with an updated model due for release in December 2025.
